= (pt 14)

He didn’t really understand why that first leader of the black army had acted like that towards him.
As if it was so important to punish a kid that was a bit annoying… Well, at least the other people thought he was nothing more than that. And somehow it was better not to change their way of thinking…
Gary looked at the ceiling again, and was a bit amazed to see a face right above him. It was Geyaren.
“Ehm, would you mind if I ask you a few things?” Geyan’s son said, with a questioning look on his face.
Gary tried to get up. After some effort he sat on the bed finally.
“Go ahead!” he laughed.
“Where do you get the courage from, to speak on that tone to the first and second leader of the black army? I mean... It sounded as if you knew precisely what you could say or not… It’s been bugging me a while now…To be honest since the first rumors I heard about you fighting against Seyage…”
Gary smiled shortly.
“I’ve always been taught not to give in easily…  I’ve always been stubborn and well… silly... as many people would call it. Plus I have met so many different people, that I can somehow sense what kind of person my opponent would be… It’s very important to know your opponent when you’re fighting..”
A hard shot like sound interrupted the conversation.
“What was that?” Gary asked the son of the leader.
“To be honest, I have no idea.. I think it’s better to stay here…”
Akenaya entered the room running.
“Quick, hide you two!” he shouted.
Geyaren didn’t hesitate and pulled Gary together with the blanket off the bed. Both kids then crouched under it and kept looking around.
The floor was quite cold, so Gary spread the blanket on it, so he and Geyaren could sit on it, and eventually fold it to keep them selves warm.
Loud footsteps were heard throughout the building. Akenaya seemed somewhat unsure.
“I will stay here with you too,” he let the kids know after a while.
“All other guardians are on the other side of the complex… And I did not plan to leave you kids alone.”
The door opened again, and another man entered. He seemed quite nervous as well.
“Akenaya, do you know what’s going on?” he asked silently. The trainer shook his head.
“I don’t know, and I somehow believe I don’t want to know it either…”
The trainer of the guardians made sure the door was closed, then walked towards one of the windows to see if there was something outside.
After a few minutes of silence still nothing had happened.
“Hmm, I think it’s safe now…” Akenaya sighed.
“I have no idea what created the sound, but it seems to have left by now.”
Gary and Geyaren got up from under the bed. Geyaren immediately caught the 17-year old kid, who almost had fallen again.
Gary looked a bit confused through the window. He saw the dark clouds, a light flash, and again a rumbling sound was heard.
“Quick! Hide!” Akenaya shouted towards him. Gary grinned and then started laughing.
“It’s just some thunder!  Haven’t you seen thunder and lightning before?”
It seemed as if the trainer of the guards had no idea what the kid was talking about.
Gary looked through the window again. It started to rain, yet the clouds seemed to be clearing.
He immediately turned round as he felt a weird energy.
A flashy ball floated in the middle of the room, lighting up everything that was inside of it.
The ball grew larger and changed it’s form.
Gary looked at the spectacle, a bit confused. It was very familiar.. What else could it be than a god?
Akenaya, Geyaren and the other man really had no idea what was going on, and did not know what to do either.
It turned out Gary was right. Even though he didn’t know the god, who wore very weird colored clothes, it couldn’t be any other creature.
Gary looked at the somewhat yellow looking Catangalike person, who was twice his size.
It was quiet for quite a while.
Wondering who the god was and why he had come here, Gary broke the silence: “Ehm… Hi”
In a fraction of a second the god had turned towards him, with a smile on his face.
“Greetings to thee too,” he laughed, “My name is Fulgeoy.”
Gary grinned. The 4 meter high creature acted more like a kid than a adult.
Fulgeoy poked him softly.
“I’m not the first god you’ve ever seen, am I?“ Gary shook his head.
“…A god?!” they heard Akenaya say to himself.
“Yup! God of thunder, lightning, flashes and all the like, heehee!”
Gary thought shortly.
“May I ask why you are here?”
Fulgeoy nodded.
Silence.
“Sooo… Why are you here?”
“Mind your own business..” Fulgeoy giggled.
Gary looked at him with two googly eyes and a questioning look.
“Awww…” The god peted him.
“I’m just searching for someone. He has arrived here yesterday,” he then answered.
The Catanga who had asked the question, felt another energy, and used his powerball as soon as he realized someone was trying to freeze the time.
Maybe Terino was coming here?
Instead of the Cetanic god of Time, another Kerarian god joined Fulgeoy.
“You know you shouldn’t make contact with them!” the time-god hissed towards the other god.
“If Terreon finds out..”
Gary acted as if he was ‘frozen’ too, and heard the conversation.
Terreon? Maybe the leading god?
“We need to find him.. I’ll try to keep the time frozen as long as possible as we’re searching..”
